For over 20 years, the family business Côté Bougie Marrakech has been developing high-quality, decorative scented candles and room fragrances.
In design, the mystically mysterious aura of the East merges with inspiring, contemporary trends. The exclusive candles are created in the workshops in Sidi Ghanem, Marrakech, according to the highest quality standards. They are made there from materials selected with respect for nature.
At the Raphia Collection works Côté Bougie collaborates with a women's cooperative in Essaouira where raffia is woven by hand. The work and sale of the products provide the women with income and independence.
A typical Moroccan craft is the art of copper smithing or "Dinanderie". In this process, intricate shapes are hammered out of a simple flat metal sheet and worked on through heating and other techniques. At Côtè Bougie, Dinanderie is used, among other things, in the scented candles VERRE SABRA and TOUPIE.
Respect for Moroccan heritage and the environment is the foundation and driving force for Côté Bougie.
All scented candles are made of
- EU-certified fragrances from Grasse
- Soy wax (GMO-free) or mineral wax as well as
- 100% cotton wick and recycled glass.
The room fragrances contain EU-certified scents from Grasse.
